SONNET ABOUT SONNET IN THE KABARDIAN LITERATURE: GENRE PECULIARITIES

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying a form of the sonnet genre - the sonnet about the sonnet - in the Kabardian poetry. The topicality of the problem is conditioned by the accelerated evolution of the innovative genre of the sonnet and the sonnet sequence in the national literature and the need to fill the existing gap in the identification of the main trends and guidelines for its development. The authors focus on both formal and content features of the sonnet. The paper identifies the characteristics of observance or non-observance of the canonical norms of the genre by the Kabardian poets. The sonnets by the Kabardian poets Anatolii Bitsuev and Khamid Kazharov are subject to the most detailed analysis.
