FORMATION OF LINGUISTIC CONCEPTION OF ELECTRONIC HYPERTEXT

Abstract. The article is devoted to the formation of a linguistic conception of the English-language electronic hypertext, which has already become an independent and full object of linguistic research. The English-language electronic hypertext presented on the Internet has not received a comprehensive linguo-semiotic description yet, and this indicates the relevance of the work that contains the results of a long-term methodological research. In the work, the author analyses the structure, builds up a typology of the electronic hypertext, describes its main specific categories, carries out the analysis of its paragraphemic elements, and identifies the peculiarities of the fiction electronic hypertext.
