SYNTACTIC TRANSFORMATION OF A SENTENCE WHEN TRANSLATING A TECHNICAL TEXT AS A METHOD OF PRESERVING SEMANTIC STRUCTURE COMPONENTS

Abstract. The article considers the topical method of a sentence syntactic transformation as a means of preserving a statement’s semantic components, which determines the study’s novelty. The objective of the work is to search for various forms of transformations that contribute to the maximum preservation of the meaning of the source text in the process of teaching competent technical translation. A special place in the paper is taken by the method of changing the syntactic structure of a sentence while preserving the components of meaning. The obtained results show that syntactic transformations interacting with each other lead to the integrity and reliability of translation.
