NEOLOGISMS OF THE THEMATIC GROUP "EDUCATION" IN THE MODERN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article focuses on analysing the semantic peculiarities of the Russian neologisms in the sphere of education. Using the material of the Russian language dictionaries and Russian National Corpus the authors examine the etymology of lexemes ( тьютор, вебинар, тестор, лэпбук, веб-квест, кейс, коучинг , etc.), describe the peculiarities of their functioning in the Russian language and compatibility, and identify the trends of their semantic development. Many neologisms of this sphere are not fixed in lexicographical sources, so the paper clarifies the semantics of new words, identifies their exact meaning.
