PAROEMIOLOGICAL MEANS OF EXPLICATING THE RUSSIANS’ AND THE GERMANS’ SOCIAL STEREOTYPED IDEAS

Abstract. The article studies the linguistic ways of objectifying social stereotyped ideas in the Russian and German paroemiological worldviews. The definitions of the terms "society" and "social" in the Russian and German languages are examined in detail. The nuclear and peripheral zones of the semantic field "social stereotyped relations" are identified. By the material of proverbs and sayings of the compared languages, the most frequent lexemes that implement the seme "normative-legal relations" are determined. For the first time, in the comparative aspect, the author uses the methods of identifying ethnic stereotypes by analysing the frequency of using the lexemes, marking the key concepts of the Russian and German cultures in paroemiological units. The paper presents the materials reflecting the data of the comparative analysis of the frequency of using the lexemes that implement the seme "normative-legal relations" in the Russian and German proverbs, identifies common and specific features of stereotyped dominants in the Russians’ and the Germans’ normative-legal sphere.
