"HOMO SOMATICUS" AND "TRANSMUTED FORM" IN BESTIARY TRADITION OF THE MODERN RUSSIAN LITERATURE

Abstract. The article analyses the problem of artistic aestheticization of lycanthropic models and "homo somaticus" codes in the modern Russian literature. The author considers variable components of the artistic opposition "human being - animal" as a basis of artistic lycanthropic binarism, identifies the dynamics of modelling the existing bestiary neo-myths of "corporeal existence" in correlation with lycanthropic anamorphoses and metamorphoses. The paper focuses on analysing the specificity of modern representation of "homo somaticus" lycanthropic models in the domestic literary tradition through the lenses of existential and mythological phenomenology of "transmuted form".
