REPRESENTATION OF TIME IN THE RUSSIAN CULINARONYMS (BY THE MATERIAL OF RECIPE NAMES)

Abstract. The article considers the representation of the category of time in the Russian culinaronyms. The study is based on the analysis of recipe names in culinary journals. The necessity to examine the category of time in different types of linguistic units is conditioned by its interdisciplinary and universal nature. The author analyzes the formal representation of the category of time in a culinaronym’s semantic structure. The conclusion is made that in culinaronyms, time is represented implicitly and explicitly, and in relation to the seme of time, culinaronyms express not only a culinary feature but also some "extra-culinary" characteristics.
