Abstract. The orientation and the contents of political control over the communistic union of youth during the initial stage of continuous collectivization in the USSR are depicted in the article. The factors of its actualization are analyzed. As the basic tools of political control over Komsomol the system of political education, purges, party management and the practice of informing are considered.
