Abstract. The article is devoted to the formation of sensuality in the history of culture. In the article it is spoken about the symbolical value of color which has been changing during the whole history of mankind development becoming the part of public and individual experience, about the distinctions in acoustical perception depending on cultural environment, about the extensive cultural tradition of smell application.
