AUTOCRATIC STATE PARTICIPATION IN THE PROCESS OF THE FORMATION OF PRE-REVOLUTIONARY RUSSIAN CONSERVATISM AT ITS FINAL STAGE AND SLAVOPHILISM ORIGIN

Nemtsev Igor' Anatol'evich
Perm' State University

Abstract. The article reveals the essence of the final stage of the process of the formation of pre-revolutionary Russian conservatism and its importance for the origin of two directions of Russian conservatism of Nikolai epoch. The author pays special attention to those basic ideas of the theory of "official folk origins" which were apprehended by Slavophilism ideologists who gave their own interpretation to them. The author shows that Slavophilism origin as well as that of the conservatism of "official folk origins" was caused by the character of state policy in the reign of Nikolai I and the influence of autocratic state on the process of the formation of conservatism in pre-revolutionary Russia at final stage.
