DIONYSIUS BODY IN EVERYDAY CULTURE OF SILVER AGE: DANCE CHARACTER AND EROTISM, MEDIUMISM AND PATHOLOGY

Abstract. The author considers Dionysius corporal practices in the culture of the Russian artistic intellectuals of the turn of the XIXth-ХХth centuries and researches the correlations between Vyach. Ivanov's aesthetic theory of Dionysism and the world perception of the epoch oriented at the transgressive practices of changed consciousness and the loss or change of personal identity. Theatricality, dance character, aestheticized erotism, mediumism and corporal convulsion are considered as the forms of the realization of Dionysian somatic practices in the everyday behavior of the artistic bohemia of the Silver Age.
