EURASIAN DISCOURSE ETHNIC CONCEPTS IN L. N. GUMILEV'S THEORY OF ETHNOGENESIS

Abstract. The author analyzes how L. N. Gumilev, often referred to as the last Eurasian, used the key ethnic concepts of Eurasian discourse and shows the evolution of the notions Eurasia, place-development and life energy, which occupied the most important place in L. N. Gumilev's theory of ethnogenesis.
