Abstract. The author considers the multi-aspect activity of Kursk district party and soviet authorities on the care of the burial places of the soviet soldiers who died within Kursk land in 1941-1945, monuments and memorials creation, young people education in the traditions of the careful preservation of the older generations' feats memory.
