MUSLIM SCHOOL OF DAGESTAN AT THE END OF THE XIXTH - THE BEGINNING OF THE XXTH CENTURY

Abstract. Basing on reliable sources, including new ones, literature and periodicals materials the author characterizes the changes in number, as well as the condition, programs, methods, the techniques of teaching and the role of traditional Muslim schools in the education system of Dagestan, and for the first time objectively and completely shows the changes in Muslim education, the features of new-method schools (schools of new type) in Dagestan under the conditions of traditional education reform in the Muslim regions of Russia at the beginning of the XXth century.
