PRESS INFLUENCE ON GERMAN-BRITISH RELATIONS FORMATION AT THE END OF THE XIXTH CENTURY

Abstract. The author considers the influence exerted by the press on the German-British relations at the end of the XIXth century, pays special attention to the fact, how the press of each of these two states influenced the formation of the relations, taking into account the differences in the interaction between the printed press and the government, analyzes both negative and positive campaigns in the press of both states, and basing on the above mentioned information comes to the conclusion about the negative influence of the press on Germany and Great Britain approaches during that period.
