Abstract. The author discusses the peculiarities of cockroaches use in artistic works and design objects creation, and presents the critical and art criticism analysis of the works of Catherine Shalmer, Mia Masaoki, Gerneta Hertz, Gilberto Espartsy, Mara Vollersberger and other artists and designers.
