FEMALE CORPORALITY IN TELEVISION DISCOURSE: ATTEMPT OF DECONSTRUCTION

Abstract. The author shows that female corporeality problematization is based on several complexes of ideas, and basing on official powerful discourse realities actualizing hyper-manliness and regenerating patriarchal tendencies on the one hand, and the analysis of television representational practices that emphasize conventional femininity conception on the other hand comes to the conclusion about the systematic nature of the legitimate way of female body image introduction coinciding with traditional ideas about femininity.
