POSTSUBCULTURES IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZING SOCIETY

Abstract. The author reveals the changes occurring in subcultures space in connection with the globalization and informatization processes in the first decade of the ХХIst century, presents his own vision of the problem considering cultural dynamics in this sphere as traditional subcultures transformation into postsubcultures, which are characterized by boundaries blurring and mass culture influence, and considers these processes by the example of hip-hop culture that is a hybrid culture, which semantics varies with the context change, and authentic meanings are largely lost.
