PERCEPTION OF BRITISH POLITICAL CULTURE IN RUSSIA OF THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE XIXTH CENTURY

Abstract. The author analyzes the perception of British political culture in Russia in the first quarter of the XIXth century, supposes that attention to foreign experience and, above all, to British parliamentarianism undoubtedly grew up and acquired a certain degree of practical orientation, and shows that however the government remained firm in its intention to run the country under monocracy despite some constitutional experiments.
