POLITICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FEATURES OF MODERNIZATION THEORY FORMATION IN THE CONTEXT OF ITS MODERN RECEPTION

Abstract. The author analyzes the trajectories of present-day modernizing states political development, makes the conclusion about the necessary attempt to explain the reasons of modernization process continuation at international and national levels, considers the political and methodological preconditions of modernization theory determining the features of its influence on modernization processes in general under current conditions; and shows that the study results reveal the reasons of the persistence of modernization theory dominant position in the analysis of the present-day processes of transformation.
