BIRTH OF POSTMODERNITY PERSONALITY IN CULTURE CRISIS

Abstract. The author compares the period of the transition from modernity to postmodernity with the time of culture crisis, and shows that the analysis of crises typology suggests that the crisis of the turn of the XIX^th-XX^th centuries was crucial for personality structure changing. Man seems to stop trusting metanarratives and focuses only at the pragmatic components of existence. Nevertheless the essence of postmodernity personality is in the following: everybody has the opportunity to realize the spiritual freedom to sense.
