ANIMAL WORSHIP IN MYTHOLOGICAL TRADITION AND CULTURE HISTORY OF INDO-EUROPEANS

Abstract. The author reconstructs the etymological and historical-typological connections of Indo-European words denoting animals, creates the complex semantic matrix that unites and explains various cognitive processes underlying the formation, modeling, and change of the studied words meanings, and ultimately tells about the revelation of the certain worldview reflected in the complex semantic and linguo-culturological connections of Indo-European bestiary.
