PROBLEMS OF CHURCH COMPLEXES DEVELOPMENT IN SIBERIAN CITIES (AT THE TURN OF THE XX TH-XXI ST CENTURIES)

Abstract. The author reveals the compositional role of church complexes in the architectural and artistic image formation of the Siberian city under the modern architectural conditions, analyzes the tendency of the temple ensemble inclusion in the functional-spatial structure of the square, as a modern public center combines cultural, administrative and commercial functions, and traces the construction of chapels (at the turn of the XX th-XXI st centuries), which are added to the existing planning structure taking into consideration the architectural traditions of the XVII th–XIX th centuries.
