TRADITIONALISM AND EURASIANISM: ONTOLOGICAL ORIGINS OF POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY

Abstract. The author discusses the interconnection of two major directions in the Russian philosophy - traditionalism and Eurasianism, which have serious ideological influence on the contemporary Russian politics and social consciousness, tells that traditionalism is interpreted in the light of the communicative essence of tradition as a form of intergenerational communication, and Eurasianism is considered as an integral part of traditionalistic philosophy, its geopolitical component; and researches the connection between the historical dynamics of tradition and the ways of its transmission with the ontological project of traditionalism.
