AGRARIAN PRODUCTION OF DAGESTAN IN THE 60S OF THE XX TH CENTURY

Abstract. The article mentions that the tasks of improving agriculture in Dagestan under the conditions of the transition to the intensive methods of its implementation required agricultural production specialization and concentration processes intensification, its transition to industrial basis, the introduction of industrial methods and scientific approach to the organization of production and management. The reasons, which conditioned the low rates of agrarian sector development in the Republic economy, are analyzed.
