CURRENT CHALLENGES OF VIRTUAL WARS

Sayapin Vladislav Olegovich
Tambov State University named after G. R. Derzhavin

Abstract. The article considers virtual war as a manipulative phenomenon of artificial virtual reality. The author concludes that "virtual war" is a part of the broader social-philosophical notion "information war" and is a purposeful project and manipulative activity in the virtual space of the Internet, where it actively performs the functions of virtual communication and social existence modeling, competing with authentic (apparently existing) reality. Modern virtual wars are the effective means of taking over capital and power; they call into question not only the independence of the defeated state, but also the very existence of its people as a national community.
