SPECIFICITY OF NATIONAL CHARACTER AND CULTURE IN VIEWS OF UKRAINIAN DIASPORA NATIONALISTS OF THE II ND HALF OF THE XX TH CENTURY

Abstract. The author reveals the Ukrainian diaspora leaders’ role in the definition of the fundamental features of the national character and culture, pays special attention to the features set by the Ukrainian diaspora nationalists, considers the specificity of nationalists’ views against the background of the conceptions of male scientists from the diaspora, and ascertains that nationalists assert the necessity of the Ukrainian character and culture reformation.
