ETHICAL THOUGHT TRANSFORMATION IN RUSSIA: FROM IDEALISM TO MARXIST DOCTRINE (THE 1900-1920S)

Abstract. The author considers the problem of the formation of new communist morality theory and Marxist ethical doctrine, which is topical in the history of the Russian ethical thought. The beginning of the ХХ th century in the Russian ethics was characterized by the dominance of ethical idealism conception, and from the beginning of the 1920s the ethical paradigm of Marxism supplanted all other theories, though it was based on Kantian deontology. During that period Marxist ethics became the theory of communist education.
