PROBLEMS OF THE RUSSIAN CRIMINAL LAW OPTIMIZATION GOVERNING LIABILITY FOR CRIMES COMMITTED WITH THE USE OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract. The author estimates the changes in the Russian criminal law, governing liability for crimes committed with the use of computer technologies, analyzes the components of fraud with debit cards (Article 159.3 of the Criminal Code) as compared with the components of simple fraud (Article 159 of the Criminal Code), comes to the conclusion that there are some contradictions, and according to the analysis results suggests measures to improve the norm consolidated in the Code.
