SOME FEATURES OF ORIGINAL MATERIAL RE-ORGANIZATION IN SH. S. AMIROV’S TRANSCRIPTION CREATIVE WORKS (BY EXAMPLE OF A. CORELLI – F. KREISLER’S "FOLIA" ARRANGEMENT)

Abstract. In the 90s of the XX th century there was an urgent need to renew and expand balalaika repertoire. The main feature of this issue solution was transcriptions creation by the leading performers. The author considers Sh. S. Amirov’s transcription of A. Corelli – F. Kreisler’s "Folia" as one of the remarkable works of that period, and basing on the comparative analysis of the original work and the arrangement not only reveals the characteristic features of the famous balalaika player’s transcription style, but also demonstrates some features of balalaika transcription art development and the instrument playing technique at the end of the XX th century.
