REGIONAL PRACTICES OF "STRATEGY 2020" IMPLEMENTATION: GENERAL AND SPECIAL

Abstract. The author considers the problem of the formation of the national development strategy for Russia, analyzes the "Strategy of the Country Social-Economic Development until 2020" as the primary document that determines the main strategic guidelines of the Russian Federation long-term development, considers the regional practices of "Strategy 2020" implementation by the example of two regions of Volga Region Federal District – Nizhnii Novgorod and Kirov, and substantiates the necessity of the synchronization, complex and system implementation of regional strategies and the strategy of the country development as a whole.
