Abstract. The author considers fantasy in terms of phenomenology as a key component of human creativity, tells that fantasy helps constitute the objects of actual and virtual reality, in particular makes it possible to represent non-existent objects-illusions, and pays particular attention to the correlation of human fantasy and images that already exist in culture, and their reproduction in a new direction of culture – original.
