BIRD OF PARADISE IN THE EASTERN SLAVS’ TRADITIONAL CULTURE

Abstract. The author discusses and analyzes the bird of paradise motif in the Eastern Slavs’ traditional culture, in the process of the ornithomorphic archetype research considers the sense, meaning and interpretation of the ideas of ??the bird of paradise during the period after the Baptism of Russia, reveals, substantiates and proves the novelty and significance of the notion "concept of "bird of paradise"", which is positioned as a cluster that has preserved the main features of the pre-existed maternal archetype.
