LABOUR MARKET FORMATION AND FUNCTIONING IN THE FAR EAST UNDER CONDITIONS OF ECONOMIC REFORMS (1991-2001)

Abstract. The author tells that the Far Eastern specialists analyze the employment problems of the region only from the economic point of view, in this article the author also discusses this problem in the historical aspect, emphasizes the periodization of labour market formation process taking into account the historical features of regional development, considers social-economic conditions for labour market formation in the South of the Far East in the 1990s, and pays special attention to transformational experience in the sphere of population employment and to the main reasons of the crisis situation that took place during that period.
