PUBLIC ASSOCIATIONS AS INSTITUTIONS OF INTERACTION WITH AUTHORITIES

Abstract. The article presents the analysis of the evolution of public associations development in modern Russia, distinguishes between the notions of public associations and non-profit organizations, considers the social functions of public associations as the subjects of the institutionalization of interaction with the authorities, and the modern statistics on third-sector organizations, and on the number of their organizational-legal forms. The author suggests a new method of the most active associations identification with the use of modern information and communication technologies – search engines Yandex and Google.
