OFFICIAL LANGUAGES PROBLEM IN VIEW OF ETHNIC MOBILIZATION CONCEPT

Abstract. The article considers the features of political-linguistic processes among the Eastern Finnish peoples at the end of the XX th – the beginning of the XXI st century. Political-linguistic processes are studied in the context of ethno-political mobilization concept. Social consequences and conflicts caused by the implementation of laws on languages ??in the Finno-Ugric republics are analyzed. The article concludes that the implementation of laws on languages causes a social-cultural conflict in the social environment of the republics and provokes the exacerbation of the ethnic conflict latent status.
