MODERN ASPECTS OF CULTURAL VALUES PRESERVATION IN MUSEUMS

Abstract. The article considers the trendincies in the activity of international and national organizations working in the sphere of material cultural heritage preservation. According to the author, the preference today is given to preventive conservation, which combines the efforts of many museum departments and leads to the creation of new specialists. Researches in this sphere are carried out in interdisciplinary perspective, and require the use of engineering and natural sciences knowledge.
