ONTOLOGICAL FUNDAMENTALS OF DEFINITION OF TRUTH WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF LINGUISTIC PARADIGM OF THINKING

Vitvitskaya Natal'ya Viktorovna
Saint Petersburg State University

Abstract. The article reveals the ontological fundamentals of the linguistic paradigm of thinking, within the framework of which "truth" is considered as a linguistic phenomenon and is defined on the basis of its functions in language/discourse. The analysis of traditional ontological range of problems from the perspective of linguistic philosophy is carried out. The author demonstrates that the ontologization of language requires the recognition of the fundamental multiplicity of being and therefore thinking within linguistic paradigm is classified as "philosophy of difference" as opposed to traditional "philosophy of identity".
