NARRATIVE STRATEGY IN CONTEXT OF ASYMMETRIC POLITICAL COMMUNICATION (BY THE MATERIALS OF V. V. PUTIN’S SPEECHES)

Abstract. In the article the problem of the use of narrative strategy in the political communication of asymmetric type is considered. The use of political narratives in the discourse of the current President of Russia V. V. Putin during the events of the modern Ukrainian revolt and the annexation of the Crimea is analyzed. The author concludes that the strategy of narrative has a high transforming potential and a variety of genres, and this makes it widely popular in modern domestic and international communicative space.
