Abstract. This article is devoted to the philosophical understanding of the idea of ??transgression that is considered as the main engine of anthroposociogenesis. The paper shows the division of transgression phenomenon, in general sense understood as going beyond the limit, into two kinds covering two different levels of human existence. Social transgression deals with laws and regulations governing the life of a person in society. Cultural transgression is a result of the innovation of the individual creating cultural and scientific values ??contrary to the current cultural paradigm.
