CRIMINAL-LEGAL PROTECTION OF MINORS FROM SEXUAL ABUSE ACCORDING TO LEGISLATIONS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE CIS COUNTRIES

Abstract. The article is devoted to the comparative characterization of the criminal legislations of the Russian Federation and the CIS countries in the sphere of children’s protection from sexual abuse. The author analyzes criminal legislation ascertaining liability for violent acts of sexual nature, the involvement of children in prostitution, and the production and trafficking of children’s pornography. The features of the criminal-legal protection of children specific to each state are revealed basing on the research.
