ENERGY SERVICE CONTRACT IN CIVIL LEGISLATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract. The article reveals the main regulations of the existing legislation in the sphere of energy conservation. The author pays special attention to the subject, content and essential terms of energy service contract. The article considers various approaches to energy conservation and its contractual regulation. The analysis of the current legislation in the sphere of energy conservation is conducted. The author suggests ways of its improvement. In particular, it seems possible to change the system of obtaining compensation according to energy service contract, as well as to introduce targeted funding for budget organizations with the purpose of energy service works implementation.
