FORMAL EDUCATION IN STAVROPOL TERRITORY DURING PERIOD OF NAZI OCCUPATION (AUGUST 1942 - JANUARY 1943)

Abstract. The brief characteristic of education system in Stavropol territory before the beginning of Nazi occupation during the Great Patriotic War is given. Basing on archival materials and the collections of documents the state of the system of formal education in the territory during the German "New Order" is studied. The problem of the organization of formal education and teachers’ work within Stavropol territory in the period of Nazi occupation (August 1942 - January 1943) is considered.
