METHOD OF VISUAL MODELING AS INSTRUMENT FOR INFLUENCING SINGER’S CLOSED PHONATORY APPARATUS

Abstract. The article considers one of the major problems of vocal pedagogics - the possibility for indirect influence on the closed psychophysical vocal apparatus of the singer. One of operational pedagogical methods for implementing indirect influence is considered to be the author’s original method of visual modeling (MVM). Using the popular verbal-audial method "as if" MVM converges verbal model into visual one - sign, transforming it into the most effective instrument securing both indirect influence and the most dynamic response of the singer’s muscular system.
