COOPERATIVE GRAIN PROCUREMENTS IN THE UKRAINIAN VILLAGES IN THE 1920S

Abstract. In the article the features of cooperative grain procurements in the Ukrainian villages in the 1920s are considered. The author shows that cooperation took the important but not key place in grain market and favoured the grain activity development of farms. In the Ukrainian villages the producer and supplier of big grain consignments disappeared, that is why cooperative form could not become the main way of the distribution of peasants’ grain.
