TRADITIONALISM AS THE CENTRAL THEME OF THE RUSSIAN IDEAS ABOUT THE BASHKIR CULTURE

Abstract. In the article the peculiarities of the formation of consolidated ideas about Bashkiria and the Bashkirs created in the Russian culture by means of artistic-journalistic discourse are considered. The author proves that the important mechanism of images formation is stereotypes and simplified schemes, which should emphasize the traditionality of the Bashkir culture, the contrast of the value purposes, traditions and customs of two cultures.
