INTERDISCIPLINARITY AND TRANSDISCIPLINARITY AS APPROACHES TO INVESTIGATION OF HUMAN BEING

Abstract. The article examines the correlation of the concepts "interdisciplinarity" and "transdisciplinarity" and analyzes the possibility for the application of the mentioned approaches to the investigation of a human being. The paper reveals the basic problems setting limits to the implementation of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary investigations, such as the divergence of special languages characteristic for certain scientific disciplines and the lack of specific methodology allowing integrating separate knowledge into a new integral system.
