SYMBOLS OF SUN IN ART OF ANANYINO AGE

Abstract. In the article the specificity of the solar symbols made in Ananyino age by the Finno-Ugric people of the Middle Volga region is considered. As cultural parallels the mythological texts that appeared in the Indo-Iranian environment are used. The author believes that the formation of the solar symbols of the Finno-Ugric people of the Volga region happened in the conditions of cultural contacts with the Indo-Iranian world.
