THEATRE AS CENTRE OF ACADEMIC MUSICAL CULTURE OF BASHKIRIA OF THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. The article examines the role of the theatre as the centre of the musical culture of Bashkiria of the beginning of the XX century. Scientific originality is secured by archival materials, unique photos portraying the founders of national theatrical, composer’s and instrumental performance school at the beginning of their creative work. On the basis of available data about the first musical performances, theatrical instrumental groups the author reveals the important role of the theatre in the creative work of the first Bashkir composers and in the formation of the academic musical art of Bashkiria on the whole.
