HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITIES IN SPORT: FROM ORIGIN TO MODERNITY

Abstract. The article examines the formation and development of humanitarian activities in sport, evaluates original humanitarian sports projects. Humanitarian sports programmes are represented taking into account different factors, against the background of the world history events. Sports competitions and arrangements are considered as a ground to solve humanitarian problems.
